You get a running Tuleap platform. Congrats. It’s time to start your project! You’ll be able to onboard your crew and tailor your project area to the way your team works.
1.Create a new account or login in
From the Tuleap platform homepage, create a new account at the top right, or login if you already get one.
2. Welcome on your personal page
Once logged in, you reach your personal page. It’s configurable and can contain many widgets about your activity: projects you are member of -for the moment none-, tasks and bugs assigned to you, development threads and others elements that you want to follow. You can customize your personal page as explained here.
Here, you can ask for creating a new project.
3. Starting a new project
To create a new project, click on “Projects” then “Register New Project” in the menu bar at the top. Fill-in the required fields as below and click on the “create the project ” button.
Once the form submitted, your project creation is sent to the global administrators of the Tuleap platform for validation. You will receive decision notification and further instructions by email.
4. Welcome on your project workspace
Once your project has been approved by the global admin , you can enter your project and start configuring it.
Now you are in your project and more precisely on your project dashboard. You can customize it. In the menu on the left, you have the tools of the project. These tools are automatically activated with the template you’ve selected. But you can adapt things to you:
- in the admin section, you can choose tools you want to work with,
- customize your project dashboard, adding widgets,
- create new trackers and configure them
- onboard project members and create new user groups
